Career Paths in Journalism

Journalism graduates of Rutgers-Newark, educated in a liberal arts tradition, pursue
a variety of career paths after graduation. Many, of course, work in journalism: at
ABC News, the Star-Ledger, the Record, the Jersey Journal, the Providence Journal,
Reuters and  Dow Jones. Others go to law school (Cornell University, Lewis and Clark
Law School) or earn a master's degree. Some teach. And others can be found working in government or at media firms.
