Career Paths in Philosophy

The Philosophy major is designed to give students an understanding of the historical development of philosophic concepts and to introduce students to the logical tools applicable to philosophical work. A variety of electives are offered, which are intended to enrich the student's understanding of the field. Courses dealing with theoretical issues from the following disciplines can serves as electives: Economics, History, Mathematics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
